If you have never had (or heard of) Chick-fil-A you are totally missing out!!! Hands down my most favorite “fast food” – although I hate to even call it that because it’s not your typical greasy cheaply made “fast food”. Employees are ALWAYS friendly – responding to your “Thank yous” with “My Pleasure”, always … how do I say it…. “classy”, and just an all around great family restaurant and FANTASTIC company in general!!
SO you will understand my excitement when they introduced a Chick-fil-A RACE SERIES in Georgia AND they held a race about 45 min from my town in LaGrange, GA!! Four of our members and I decided we would dress up like cows (they encourage this!) and have some fun!
The race was every bit as professional and classy as the restaurant itself. Well organized, easy check in, nice tech shirts (although “womens” sizing would be great in the future), point system awarded for spirit and speed, great medals, just a very family friendly race.
If I had more races in the series near me I’d definitely do them – and if you have one near you – DO IT!!!! Hopefully they will have more in the LaGrange, GA circuit soon – possibly (hopefully) in Newnan and Peachtree City!!!
Here are some pics of the cattle from Newnan and a new friend from Bogart, GA!
