  • Run a half marathon!
  • I’m really trying to build speed and endurance in my running.  I’d like to get below 2:30 in my half marathon time, which is my goal for 2012!  :)

  • Chasing my dream all the way to Chicago.26.2 on 10/09/11… Chicago Marathon, HERE I COME!  I’m following Hal Higdon’s plan and running more than I ever have in my entire life. Just now being pushed beyond my comfort zone & needing some encouragement :)
  • My Goal is to run my first marathon this November. While I have the endurance to do the 26.2 mile I need to work on my time.  that is my goal to gain speed.
  • I want to eventually run a 1/2 marathon.  I have been running for over a year and my longest run has been 5.2 miles.  By the way, I really have never liked running but it is a great exercise to feel like you got something done!

  • To run a 5K in less then 30mins, I had two 5K in a little over a month now and the first was The Lake Freedom in Milligeville Georgia time was 40:16 and this past weekend  The Summer End 5K/10K in Winder, Georgia time was 38:04. I want my next race to be… (sorry this got cut off!)

  • Run for longer than 2 minutes in a stretch :)  I’ve been working on the 5K101 program, but I have tendonitis in my foot now, so I have to go slow…  But I walk M-Th 5 miles and 10 on Fridays most weeks :)

  • August was my first month to train for a half marathon.  My goal was at least four times a week.  Success!  A year ago I was barely walking after a blood clot.  I feel wonderful.  Wonderful.

  • Running first 5k next weekend and going to sign up for 2 others in September if all goes well and I enjoy my first race. Nervous. Would like to become a faster runner as well.
  • Finish 4 miles in 40 minutes. Result: 4.2 miles I’m 40 minutes without stopping.
  • My running goal is to make a slow, strong comeback from my femoral neck stress fracture!  I was able to get up to 3.1 miles this week to finish this 5k!  Success!
